Community Impact​

Serving our community is at the core of our mission statement. We are focused on giving back to the community which has helped us grow over our years. As part of our mission, we are dedicated helping provide assistance to these organizations so they can continue to make Cherokee an even better place to live & work. 

They serve those who serve our community by providing direct assistance to Woodstock’s first responders in times of need. They partner with the Woodstock Police and Fire departments to identify and fund programs that promote and improve public safety.

Since 1935, the Service League of Cherokee County has helped meet the everyday provisions of local children. The Service League receives requests from school counselors, social workers, teachers, and individuals to help children with housing, utility, vision, dental, and medical needs.

The mission of The Children’s Haven is to promote the health and happiness of children impacted by abuse. We are committed to building successful children through programs that increase their safety and improve their educational, social and emotional functioning.

The Cherokee Sheriff's Office Foundation gathers resources to support programs in a partnership with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office to assist the organization and those who serve.

Empower Cherokee's mission is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live life as they define it through employment and social connections, and the support necessary for each person to achieve their hopes and dreams.
